What you will do

• Define and own UAV system architectures across airborne platforms, payloads, datalinks, and GCS.
• Govern requirements, ICDs, and functional allocations; act as final authority on trade studies and architectural decisions.
• Lead integration of hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, and RF subsystems to meet performance, safety, SWaP, and reliability targets.
• Own verification and validation strategy across lab, ground, and flight testing with full requirements-to-acceptance traceability.
• Lead system-level root-cause analysis and corrective actions; oversee SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR/PRR reviews.
• Mentor engineers and institutionalize systems engineering processes to support Emirati talent development.

Requirements

• UAE National
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Systems, or Electrical Engineering (or related).
• 5+ years hands-on UAV systems engineering experience, including flight control, autonomy, and sensor fusion.
• Proven experience in system architecture, integration, verification, and flight testing.
• Deep knowledge of UAV subsystems: avionics, propulsion, sensors, comms, and payloads.
• Proficiency in SysML/MBSE, MATLAB/Simulink, and DOORS (or equivalent tools).
