What you will do

• Design and develop programs and libraries for new and existing automation products.
• Implement software that interacts directly with hardware, specifically FPGAs and ASICs.
• Translate customer requirements into innovative software architecture features.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and QA groups to define and test functionality.
• Partner with Field Applications teams to resolve customer problems and improve product success.
• Devise and implement effective test strategies to ensure high-quality software releases.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree with 7+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of C++ and strong Object-Oriented design skills.
• Proven experience implementing software for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Deep knowledge of Windows OS internals and proficiency with Visual Studio.
• Experience developing Windows device drivers (KMDF).
• Ability to read schematics and design documentation to interact with hardware.

Nice to have

• Experience with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment).
• Familiarity with small-form-factor devices like Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, or Arduino.
