What you will do

• Define the global data ontology by partnering with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Lead and mentor a growing team of Data Engineers to support evolving data needs.
• Design and maintain reliable batch and streaming pipelines to model business entities as core data sets.
• Develop scalable frameworks and tooling to automate analytics workflows and streamline data product interactions.
• Establish and evangelize best practices for data operations and lifecycle management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building scalable ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi.
• Deep expertise in SQL, PySpark, or Scala.
• 3+ years of experience leading data engineering development directly with business or data science stakeholders.
• Experience scaling multi-terabyte datasets and solving complex analytics challenges like skew mitigation and sampling.
• Experience with at least one major cloud suite (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with GitOps workflows, including PRs and CI/CD systems.
