What you will do

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting across multiple entities, including consolidation and audit preparation.
• Drive improvements in accounting systems, integrations, and process documentation.
• Assist with technical accounting research, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve billing operations and calculate the financial impact of blockchain transactions.
• Assist with strategic projects such as ERP readiness and post-merger consolidations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in fast-paced SaaS or tech environments.
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (CPA is a plus).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP with hands-on experience managing general ledger and close processes.
• Proficiency with accounting systems like QuickBooks and finance tools like Brex, Ramp, Deel, and Stripe.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.
• Must not be based in California or Colorado.
