What you will do

• Drive security automation strategy and embed audit-by-construction into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous compliance.
• Architect scalable security solutions for cloud-native and hybrid environments, specializing in secure Azure Landing Zones.
• Design enterprise-grade security platforms with robust tenant isolation strategies to mitigate multi-tenant risks.
• Implement automated PII protection mechanisms and develop comprehensive Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models.
• Mentor senior and mid-level security engineers and manage high-level stakeholder relationships.
• Lead red team/blue team exercises and security assessment programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in network security and security automation.
• Expertise in designing enterprise security automation platforms and cloud-native application security.
• Deep knowledge of security operations, threat detection, incident response, and compliance frameworks.
• Outstanding English communication skills.
• Must be based in Guatemala.

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Expert-level.
• Experience with security program management.
• Proven track record of building security automation teams and knowledge of AI-driven security operations.
