What you will do

• Engineer and maintain highly available, secure, and cost-effective container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and ECS.
• Develop monitoring and observability services and patterns to identify, react, respond, and recover from complex failures.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scale and improve production systems and services.
• Provide documentation, cross-training, architecture planning, capacity management, and recommendations for future state.
• Engineer solutions to prevent or reduce the frequency of failures; write clean code and improve code quality through reviews.
• Design and operationalize AI agent infrastructure (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen) and integrate AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) into Platform Engineering workflows with secure CI/CD and IaC toolchains (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Requirements

• 2+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 1+ year with a Master’s degree, or a PhD without experience (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Python and/or Go with a software engineering mindset.
• Experience administering Linux.
• Experience with immutable and scalable infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Demonstrated understanding of networking systems and identity/authorization systems.
• Experience using AI coding tools (GitHub, Copilot, Claude) and understanding of agentic AI and MCP servers.
