What you will do

• Evaluate emerging AI infrastructure technologies and develop future-ready data center strategies.
• Analyze AI workload characteristics, including training vs. inference and GPU utilization patterns, to determine infrastructure impact.
• Model AI rack power density trends and assess the implications of evolving chip architectures (GPUs, ASICs) on cooling and electrical distribution.
• Support conceptual design for AI-ready infrastructure, focusing on liquid cooling, modular strategies, and microgrid solutions.
• Collaborate with energy strategy teams to evaluate utility constraints, grid limitations, and onsite generation opportunities.
• Lead technical assessments of next-generation vendor technologies regarding reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, AI/HPC infrastructure, power systems, or cooling technologies.
• Strong understanding of emerging AI compute technologies and their physical infrastructure implications.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (including CPT/OPT).

Nice to have

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Energy Systems.
• Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center environments.
• Knowledge of GPU infrastructure and high-density cooling technologies.
• PE license or equivalent advanced technical credentials.
