What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and programmes.
• Develop and maintain robust governance frameworks to track progress and mitigate risks.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve scalability.
• Implement metrics and KPIs to measure team success and operational excellence.
• Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing delivery teams including project managers and scrum masters.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership regarding delivery performance and strategic opportunities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project and programme management within a software development environment.
• Deep expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing process improvements like Lean, Six Sigma, or ITIL.
• Strong understanding of modern software practices including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have

• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM.
• Experience in digital-first businesses such as fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS.
• Knowledge of digital product lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
