Head of Implementation (HR & Payroll): Leading and shaping the implementation capability in Spain to deliver complex HR and Payroll programs with an accent on efficiency, quality, and strategic delivery frameworks. Focus on building high-performing professional services teams and driving organizational transformation.

Location: Madrid, Spain. Remote and hybrid working options are available and open for discussion.

What you will do

  • Define and execute the Implementation strategy for the Spanish market.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing Professional Services team, including recruitment and development.
  • Take full accountability for the delivery of local and international implementation projects and programmes.
  • Partner with Managed Payroll Services, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless delivery from design to deployment.
  • Drive innovation and best practices through internal and external benchmarking and transformation initiatives.
  • Support commercial teams with accurate resource planning and cost modelling for bids.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in senior programme or delivery leadership roles.
  • Background in consulting or complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven success delivering multi-workstream transformation programmes.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Must be based in or have the legal right to work in Spain (Madrid).
  • Strong knowledge of project and programme management methodologies.

  • Experience in HR and Payroll implementations.
