Location: Must be based in Madrid, Spain (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office required).

What you will do

• Develop high-quality software within the Maps Advanced Analytics team.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and testing.
• Build scalable, highly available, and resilient applications using optimal cloud technologies.
• Design technical solutions to solve complex problems at scale.
• Work iteratively using agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in Madrid, Spain or willing to work from the office 2 days per week.
• Experience with cloud technology (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Experience working with data science and engineering pipelines.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Solid Python coding skills.
• English: B2 level required for verbal and written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Spark, and MLOps platforms.
• Knowledge of Java or Scala.
• Experience with SQL database optimization.
• Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS).
