Software Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Must be based in Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid setup). Candidates must have lived in a NATO or EU country for the past seven years and be able to present a clean criminal record.

What you will do

• Install and configure applications in Kubernetes using Helm.
• Build custom Docker images and manage Istio service mesh configurations.
• Drive the implementation of complex development tasks with a focus on quality and reliability.
• Break down large features into actionable tasks to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide 3rd-line support to customers and mentor junior colleagues.
• Automate and optimize infrastructure using shell scripting and cloud-native tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must have lived in a NATO or EU country for the past seven years.
• Must be able to present a clean criminal record.
• Solid knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and shell scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio, FluxCD, or ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, or Ceph.
