TL;DR

Senior Frontend Developer (AI): Building and optimizing scalable, AI-enabled web journeys for customer acquisition with an accent on React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Focus on implementing high-quality features, mentoring the team in AI-assisted development, and ensuring robust testing and performance for the sign-up and onboarding experience.

Location: Hybrid role based in Lisbon, Portugal (Remote work allowed, office usage is flexible).

What you will do

  • Plan and implement technical solutions for customer acquisition and onboarding features.
  • Serve as a frontend expert, mentoring team members and integrating AI tools into daily workflows.
  • Collaborate with product managers and marketing to drive conversion and improve user experience.
  • Write readable, testable, and scalable code while maintaining high standards for performance and security.
  • Participate in ideation sessions and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Review and refactor both human-written and AI-generated code.

Requirements

  • Deep frontend expertise with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
  • Strong code-auditing skills and ownership of the codebase.
  • Expertise in automated testing with Jest and Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Server-Side Rendering and CDN caching strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tooling.
  • Fluent English with a highly collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience with modern AI code editors.
  • Familiarity with backend stacks like Ruby, Elixir, or AWS/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with public-facing web applications and SEO.
  • Prior experience with backend development.
