What you will do
- Build, enhance, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
- Design and implement clean, testable low-level designs, APIs, and data models.
- Apply software engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions and deliver features iteratively.
- Integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions for personalization and automated insights.
- Triage production issues and optimize app performance, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience building and shipping production Android applications using Kotlin.
- Ability to design mobile low-level architectures and work with microservices-based backends.
- Proficiency with core Android development tools, version control, and testing frameworks.
- Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jetpack libraries, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines/Flows.
- Knowledge of mobile performance profiling and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with accessibility and inclusive design standards.
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems and AI-powered coding tools.
