TL;DR
Staff Architect / Tech Lead (AI): Designing and building a greenfield AI-powered Data Intelligence Platform using AI agents and self-learning techniques with an accent on scalable backend architecture, data engineering, and system design. Focus on defining technical direction, implementing complex data flows, and establishing engineering standards for a brand-new product workstream.
Location: Remote (Europe-based candidates only)

What you will do
- Define and own the technical architecture for a new AI/Data product workstream.
- Design scalable backend services, data flows, and integration patterns.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers during implementation.
- Establish and review engineering standards, code quality, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop AI-enabled product capabilities and agent-based workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years at Staff, Principal, or Technical Lead level.
- Strong proficiency in Python, preferably with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Extensive background in system design, software architecture, and building large-scale data platforms or ETL pipelines.
- Experience with Databricks and cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of AI/LLM-enabled products and agent-based systems.
- English: B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher required.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying AI agent solutions in production environments.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Background in consulting, enterprise platforms, or internal product development.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude, or Codex.
