TL;DR

What you will do
- Own end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion and processing to delivery into analytics and reporting systems.
- Design and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Java, Scala (Spark, Flink), and Python.
- Implement solutions for publisher management, bidding logic, and customer-facing data products.
- Optimize query performance, ensure data quality, and integrate with external data sources and third-party services.
- Improve system observability through logs, metrics, and tracing while participating in technical design reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of total commercial development experience.
- 4+ years of commercial experience with Java, Scala (Spark and Flink preferred), and Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (experience with Vertica and MongoDB is highly valued).
- Solid experience with AWS cloud platform or equivalent cloud technologies.
- Proven experience designing scalable data architectures and distributed systems.
- Location: Must be based in Poland, Serbia, or Romania
Nice to have
- Experience with Hadoop and Kafka.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Kibana.
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
