What you will do

• Lead the design of electrical systems from concept through to commissioning.
• Develop technical documentation, equipment specifications, and engineering deliverables.
• Manage third-party consultants and contractors to ensure design compliance.
• Perform electrical system design calculations and equipment selection.
• Conduct site inspections and participate in commissioning activities for electrical and control systems.
• Support R&D initiatives and drive design optimization efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in data center or critical infrastructure (MEP) environments.
• Strong understanding of DC, low voltage AC, and medium voltage AC systems.
• Experience with relevant local and international electrical standards.
• Must be based in Sydney, Hobart, or Launceston, Australia.
• Ability to travel approximately 10–30% during project delivery phases.
