Quality Resident Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Assure product and work-process quality for automotive series at customer sites.
• Identify and document quality-management system and process deviations, then implement corrective measures.
• Obtain customer instructions and review testing plans, inspection plans, drawings, and customer and supplier specifications.
• Coordinate complex tests and inspections, including the development of alternative quality-assurance methods.
• Verify the functional reliability and interaction of multiple component groups.
• Prepare complex series reports, coordinate customer-specific documentation, and conduct plant-site training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• At least three years of experience in quality within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of quality techniques and methods.
• Fluent English is required.
• Very good communication skills, initiative, and decision-making ability.
