What you will do
- Design and transition new or changed services into live environments, ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations for quality, cost, and timelines.
- Lead the Design and Transition pod, ensuring service design is embedded within the technical organization.
- Act as process owner for UX and Adoption, Service Level Management, Service Transition, Configuration Management, and Asset Management.
- Collaborate with project teams, service owners, and support groups (L1/L2) to ensure seamless transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Develop and document operating procedures for each service management area and drive continual improvement.
- Ensure an efficient, customer-centric delivery model in collaboration with internal and external service providers.
Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent professional training and experience.
- At least five years’ experience working in an IT service environment within a complex and diverse organisation.
- At least two years’ experience in a service environment where ITIL service management principles and processes are implemented.
- Demonstrable leadership capability and ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven experience working in a matrix organisation using negotiating and influencing skills.
- Technical background to understand core system architectures and the impact of new technologies.
