What you will do

• Design and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-effective GCP architectures leveraging Compute Engine, BigQuery, GKE, and Cloud SQL.
• Develop cloud migration strategies and blueprints for applications, data, and infrastructure to GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
• Configure GCP environments including VPCs, IAM policies, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance such as GDPR and HIPAA.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with core GCP services including GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Proven expertise in cloud migration strategies and creating architecture blueprints.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPC, VPN, Interconnect, and DNS.
• Experience designing microservices architectures and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and industry regulations.

Nice to have

• GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services on GCP, specifically Vertex AI and AutoML.
• Security certifications like CCSP or CISSP.
