Location: Must be based in Seattle, Washington, United States (Onsite 5 days a week)

Salary: $235,000–$280,000

What you will do

• Architect, design, and maintain core platform services including backend and micro front-end components.
• Lead technical teams in building exceptional solutions using Domain Driven Design and clean architecture principles.
• Design AI-native data backends and systems using LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Define and evaluate non-functional requirements to ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistency and alignment on architectural guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior peers across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience (or 6+ years with Master's, 3+ years with PhD).
• 4+ years of experience with Java or similar object-oriented languages.
• 2+ years of experience developing microservices and cloud-based solutions (AWS/GCP).
• Proven track record in Agentic AI architecture and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing standard interfaces and integrations with Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful API design and web standards.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework.
