What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and refinement of market-making and trading strategies based on market microstructure and risk constraints.
• Translate quantitative research and hypotheses into scalable, production-grade trading systems.
• Architect and evolve backtesting frameworks that model execution, liquidity dynamics, and behavioral responses.
• Develop real-time decision engines to price markets, optimize inventory, and react to high-frequency event streams.
• Set technical direction for trading systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability in production.
• Communicate strategy vision and business impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning, quantitative modeling, or algorithmic strategy development.
• Experience with automated trading systems, prediction markets, sports betting, or crypto/DeFi environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch) and experience with C++, C#, Java, or Rust.
• Deep expertise in market making, market microstructure, liquidity modeling, and risk-aware optimization.
• Strong foundation in statistical and probabilistic modeling, including time-series analysis and signal evaluation.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment.
