Principal Engineer (Java, React, AWS)

What you will do

• Lead the development of a mission-critical advertising and audience insights platform using Java and React.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of an AWS-based cloud-native ecosystem.
• Drive engineering excellence through the implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines and high-quality code reviews.
• Manage and enable distributed nearshore development teams to maintain consistency and quality across geographies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Senior Executives to align API design with business priorities and roadmaps.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with Java (Spring Boot) and React.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying serverless components and data pipelines on AWS.
• Experience leading and enabling remote or nearshore development teams.
• Strong consultative mindset with the ability to build trust and provide technical leadership.
• Must be based in or able to work in London on a hybrid basis (3 days per week).

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume data streaming or programmatic advertising platforms (Ad-Tech).
