What you will do

• Lead the architecture and technical implementation of a full-stack platform using Python, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Guide the migration from existing no-code tools to scalable application services.
• Build and integrate AI-powered workflows, including document processing and LLM-based features.
• Collaborate with product leadership to prioritize work and deliver against project milestones.
• Establish engineering best practices for testing, observability, and code quality.
• Mentor and support engineers while remaining hands-on with implementation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading technical delivery for production systems.
• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI) and React/Next.js.
• Deep understanding of API design, data modeling, and backend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Must be located in Latin America.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating systems from no-code/low-code platforms.
• Background in marketplace, fintech, or document-heavy products.
• Knowledge of compliance, security best practices, and CI/CD.
