What you will do

  • Define, maintain, and release software system baselines for various product classes, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, verification results, and justifications.
  • Lead release review activities and coordinate approvals among technical stakeholders.
  • Perform software breakdowns on project vehicles, verification environments, and test platforms.
  • Support and train delivery teams on internal processes, tools, and release workflows.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software delivery methods and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in software configuration management and release processes.
  • Knowledge of VDA standards and software delivery flows.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Volvo PDM logic.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Configurator and SW ProTOM.
  • Experience managing production and aftermarket software processes.
