What you will do

• Design, build, and operate internal IAM and cloud security services.
• Write production-quality software using modern engineering best practices.
• Automate security controls to reduce operational burden and technical debt.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed secure-by-default patterns into workflows.
• Participate in on-call support, incident response, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers and advocate for pragmatic security improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience (C#, Python, or Java).
• Proven ownership of cloud security posture in complex environments, Azure preferred.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience designing and governing DevSecOps practices and pipeline security standards.
• Ability to identify gaps in tooling and take responsibility for closing them.

Nice to have

• Experience securing cloud-native applications and SaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust principles, vulnerability scanning, and threat protection.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-500 or SC-300.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like GDPR or HIPAA.
