TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Platform Integrations): Building and optimizing the integration backbone for the Certent Equity Management platform with an accent on financial data movement, REST APIs, and file-based transfers. Focus on migrating legacy business logic to modern .NET services and integrating agentic AI development tooling into the engineering workflow.

What you will do

  • Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the integration stack using C#/.NET and Oracle SQL/PL/SQL.
  • Develop and maintain file-based integration logic, including CSV/fixed-width parsing, PGP encryption, and SFTP transfers.
  • Migrate business logic from legacy systems and Boomi orchestration into modern, maintainable .NET services.
  • Champion an AI-first engineering approach, integrating agentic tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code into daily workflows.
  • Build and maintain REST API endpoints and background processing pipelines with clean layered architecture.
  • Mentor junior engineers on integration patterns, .NET best practices, and AI-driven development.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for building production-quality backend services and APIs.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing PL/SQL stored procedures.
  • Proven experience with file-based integration patterns (SFTP, PGP, CSV parsing).
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin.AI, Claude Code).

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure cloud services (Blob Storage, Service Bus).
  • Familiarity with Boomi or other enterprise iPaaS platforms.
  • Background in financial services or equity compensation (ESPP, RSU, tax withholding).
  • Experience with WCF/SOAP migration to REST.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
