What you will do

• Lead the delivery of a cross-platform communications strategy for conservation, science, and wildlife activities.
• Capture stories and produce multimedia assets, including videos and stills, through stakeholder interviews.
• Write and edit news releases, speeches, fundraising materials, feature stories, and social media content.
• Conduct research on science activities and liaise with NSW and Federal Government agencies.
• Develop and maintain key messages and Q&As to effectively communicate major projects.
• Provide timely crisis communications and issues management support.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Media, Communications or equivalent professional experience.
• Current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
• Valid NSW Driver’s License.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex media and communication campaigns.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian media landscape and social media strategy.
