What you will do

• Design and implement secure solutions across Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.
• Develop security architecture principles, patterns, and standards aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and apply security frameworks such as GDPR, DORA, and ISO 27001 to practical controls and policies.
• Convert security standards and architectural designs into operational processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Engineering teams to embed security controls into workflows.
• Identify, assess, and manage security risks across cloud and enterprise systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure security services (Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault).
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including Zero Trust and defense-in-depth.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards: GDPR, DORA, and ISO 27001.
• Proven ability to translate high-level security standards into technical designs and operational policies.
• Experience working with structured architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Must be based in the Netherlands with right to work authorization.

Nice to have

• Certifications: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer/Architect, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
• Experience in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, or government.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
