What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of blockchain security engineers.
• Define and evolve the blockchain security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews for on-chain systems.
• Perform and guide security reviews and audits of smart contracts (Solidity, Rust/Solana) and backend infrastructure.
• Design and implement reusable security controls, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Research emerging blockchain threats and leverage AI tools to improve team productivity and output quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of security software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with blockchain technologies and smart contract security across multiple chains.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a small, highly technical team.
• Expertise in secure SDLC, threat modeling, and application architecture review.
• Strong familiarity with Solidity, Rust, cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and TLS/PKI.
• Eligibility for US-based employment benefits (e.g., 401k).

Nice to have

• Direct exposure to Solana, staking systems, or similar Layer 1 protocols.
• Prior experience at a blockchain security audit firm (e.g., Trail of Bits, Halborn, Zellic).
• Background in financial services, institutional crypto security, or DeFi protocol security.
