DevOps Engineer (Cloud/Kubernetes)

Location: Budapest, Pécs, Debrecen, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on T Cloud Public for high availability and performance.
• Administer Linux and Windows production systems and manage Docker and Kubernetes applications.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and proactive incident prevention.
• Perform root cause analysis, maintain infrastructure documentation, and participate in on-call support.
• Support PostgreSQL database administration, including backups and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Professional experience in DevOps or operations engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AWS, Azure, GCP, or another cloud platform.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Linux and/or Windows administration skills plus scripting or programming with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• German proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with T Cloud Public, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Background in support, troubleshooting, infrastructure security, compliance, configuration management, or agile development.
• Fluency in both German and English.
