What you will do

• Lead lifecycle risk management from site selection through operations, maintaining comprehensive risk registers.
• Partner cross-functionally with development, construction, engineering, and finance teams to address risks early in planning.
• Manage risks in pre-construction and procurement, including supply chain, permitting, and contractor performance.
• Support operational risk for live environments, focusing on uptime, security, and disaster recovery planning.
• Coordinate insurance placement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO, SOC, and NIST.
• Analyze financial and market risks and create risk dashboards and insights for leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in risk, project management, or operations, preferably in mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks like COSO, NIST, or ISO 31000.
• Basic understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy) and development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with an ownership mindset.
• Location: Must be based in New York, NY
