TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (AWS/FinOps): Building and automating data pipelines for cloud spend reporting and cost analysis with an accent on AWS infrastructure, SQL ETL, and FinOps principles. Focus on designing scalable data models for cost attribution and integrating AI-enabled cost analysis via LLMs.
Location: Must be based in Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine (Remote/Hybrid options available)

What you will do
- Build and own automated data pipelines to ingest AWS cost and usage data into an analytics layer.
- Optimize cost data using Athena, S3, and Glue to ensure reliability and performance at scale.
- Model data with consistent dimensions (project, product, service) to maintain reusability as the program grows.
- Automate tagging governance by auditing policy compliance and producing remediation-ready reporting.
- Develop self-service reports for finance teams and executive rollups using BI tools.
- Support the AWS Cloud Financial Management assessment and integrate AI tools like Claude for cost exploration.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience designing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Practical AWS expertise, including S3, Athena, Glue, IAM, and AWS Cost Explorer.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Understanding of finance fundamentals, including CAPEX vs. OPEX and budgeting cycles.
Nice to have
- FinOps Foundation or AWS certifications.
- Experience with CUDOS or Cloud Intelligence Dashboards.
- Background in Ad-tech or managing high-volume infrastructure.
