What you will do

• Integrate ground segment solutions with complex space mission elements.
• Prepare technical proposals and bids, ensuring technical consistency and customer value.
• Coordinate technical contributions across subsystems, including MCS, FDS, MPS, and PDGS.
• Conduct effort estimation, technical planning, and risk assessment during the bidding phase.
• Define and negotiate competitive technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive systems engineering activities and high-level architectural decisions in international environments.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Space Systems Engineering or complex industries (aerospace, defense, telecommunications).
• Experience with Ground Segment systems, Monitoring & Control (M&C), and mission data processing.
• Fluent English proficiency (C1).
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain.
• Willingness to travel primarily within Europe, with occasional trips to North America and Asia.

Nice to have

• Experience in proposal development, pre-sales, or complex bid engineering.
• Knowledge of systems architecture tools and MBSE.
• INCOSE or PMP certifications.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and real mission environments.
• Knowledge of German, French, or Italian.
