What you will do

• Provide expert guidance and analysis relating to engineering changes for the Hobart Class DDG within the RAN fleet.
• Integrate cyberworthiness considerations into the engineering of systems, subsystems, and networks.
• Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the entire program life cycle.
• Plan and conduct security Test and Evaluation activities.
• Maintain security documentation to support ICT, Emanation, and Physical Security accreditation.
• Liaise with Australian Defence Security Authorities to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, specifically with complex military and software-intensive systems.
• Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be able to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, or Cradle.
• Competent knowledge of network security and systems engineering within an ASDEFCON context.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as Engineers Australia CPEng, INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.
