What you will do

• Create and implement key-frame animations for characters and creatures within Unreal Engine.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on animations to achieve optimal gameplay feel and readability.
• Establish and maintain animation workflows and pipelines using Maya, 3ds Max, or MotionBuilder.
• Apply character, controls, and camera principles to both 1st and 3rd person perspectives.
• Develop animation documentation and provide mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the game industry with at least one shipped title.
• Expertise in Unreal Engine, specifically anim blueprints and montages.
• Proven experience setting up character and facial rigging.
• Must be based in or eligible to work within the United States.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with motion capture (directing and clean-up).
• Traditional animation skills and first-person animation experience.
• T-shaped skills in modeling, VFX, lighting, or coding.
• Passion for 3rd person action-adventure and multiplayer games (PvE/PvP).
