What you will do

• Lead daily operations in quality areas, supporting battery cell manufacturing processes.
• Configure and launch on-floor quality systems, inspection workflows, and data collection plans.
• Implement and maintain measurement test equipment including gauges, microscopes, and electrical test benches.
• Collect, structure, and validate data to support engineering decisions and material dispositions.
• Perform data audits and summarize trends to ensure process readiness and traceability.
• Coordinate containment activities and support problem-solving efforts for quality issues.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience required.
• 5+ years of experience as a quality, test, or lab technician in manufacturing.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Must be able to work onsite in Warren, Michigan.
• Strong metrology skills including GR&R and statistical process control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and handle technical data using spreadsheets.

Nice to have

• Experience with battery materials, welding operations, or precision mechanical assembly.
• Prior involvement in launching new quality systems or production lines.
• Experience with weld sample preparation and defect identification.
• Demonstrated leadership or coaching experience for technician teams.
