What you will do

• Conduct claim follow-ups and research to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Perform verbal insurance verifications by contacting payers directly.
• Post payments and reconcile billing records within the client’s EHR system.
• Manage denials, identify root causes, and submit appeals with complete documentation.
• Maintain live client tracker spreadsheets for real-time account visibility.
• Communicate with client front desk teams and handle outbound insurance calls.

Requirements

• Proven medical billing experience is a MUST (claims, denials, appeals, payment posting).
• Strong understanding of CPT codes, ICD/diagnosis codes, and timely filing rules.
• Experience using CureMD or similar EHR/practice management systems.
• CRM experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.
