Position Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned and highly proficient DevOps Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in designing and building high-performance, scalable, mission-critical, and secure cloud systems. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be involved in the development of significant components within our expanding platform.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in AWS, GCP, and infrastructure automation to support our fast-paced, high-performance engineering team.

About Your Role:

• Design and maintain scalable, cost-efficient, and dependable systems, leveraging technologies such as Kubernetes in the AWS and cloud environment.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for efficient management of SaaS infrastructure, utilising infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to manage resources effectively.
• Involved in incident management and supporting the engineering team to fulfil infrastructure requirements.

• Introduce and implement processes, best practices, and tools to enhance the productivity of our engineering team.
• Automate deployment and scaling procedures to minimise downtime.
• Continuously enhance infrastructure and processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive systems documentation, including infrastructure and configurations
• Proven experience managing production infrastructure in AWS and containerised environments (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS).
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodeCommit, CloudFormation) and automation tools ( Bash, Python).
• Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform) and configuration management.
• Experience supporting SaaS platforms or blockchain infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of system monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends and tools.
• Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency through proactive system tuning, refactoring, and capacity planning.
• Document infrastructure architecture, workflows, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and business continuity.
• Demonstrated drive for continuous learning

About Your Experience

Technical Skills:

• 5 years of experience in a similar role, involved in building and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based distributed infrastructure environments. Browse our curated collection of remote jobs across all categories and industries, featuring positions from top companies worldwide.
• Proficient in Linux server administration, Bash, and network protocols
• Demonstrated expertise in working with Containers and Container Orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services (GCP, AWS, Azure), with at least 3 years of dedicated involvement in building and maintaining services in AWS.
• Prior experience with CI/CD processes and proficiency in Terraform, CI/CD tools, security practices and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational database models (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and Redis).
• Proven track record of professional experience in software delivery using one of Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar
