Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Design and develop systems powering real-time GeniusIQ products, including tracking data, analytics, and video feeds.
• Implement features end-to-end, managing the lifecycle from on-premise hardware configuration to real-time product delivery.
• Lead technical discussions and drive architectural decisions to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain the foundational platform supporting development and iteration by other engineering teams.
• Design testing and release strategies for complex distributed systems, including backend services and real-time model inference.
• Develop mechanisms for human-in-the-loop workflows to validate and enhance system outputs.

Requirements

• Experience operating distributed systems.
• Experience building real-time, interactive web frontends.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating services.
• Experience managing relational databases including schema design and performance tuning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work from the Los Angeles office as part of a hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Rust, Elixir, TypeScript, Go, C++, or Python.
• Experience with React, Three.js, or HTML5 Video.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AI/ML model inference systems.
• Experience with AWS, Temporal.io, Docker, Kubernetes, Pulsar, or RabbitMQ.
