What you will do

• Interview, train, evaluate, and motivate operations staff to maintain high production and quality standards.
• Manage the operations pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up on all mortgage activities.
• Resolve member service and loan issues, including the review of loans escalated by sales or operations staff.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory agency requirements and stay current on industry trends.
• Direct the development and implementation of training courses and curricula for operations staff.
• Collaborate with management to set and monitor effective performance goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage banking (underwriting, closing, or post-closing).
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
• Thorough knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, First, and Second loan originations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
