What you will do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Japan-based roles from requisition through onboarding.
- Partner with the CEO and Managing Director to develop recruitment strategies and deliver high-quality pipelines.
- Source and assess candidates using local Japanese platforms (DODA, Mynavi, etc.) and networking.
- Conduct candidate interviews in both Japanese and English.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and external talent partners.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide market intelligence and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Near-native Japanese language proficiency (C2).
- Business-level English proficiency (B2).
- Minimum 3 years of in-house Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience.
- Proven experience recruiting within the Japanese domestic market.
- Hands-on experience using Japanese recruitment platforms like DODA, Mynavi, or en .
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting within a multinational or international organization.
- Experience recruiting for sales, business development, marketing, or corporate functions.
- Knowledge of employer branding and talent attraction strategies.
- Understanding of talent market trends and workforce planning within Japan.
