What you will do

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Japan-based roles from requisition through onboarding.
  • Partner with the CEO and Managing Director to develop recruitment strategies and deliver high-quality pipelines.
  • Source and assess candidates using local Japanese platforms (DODA, Mynavi, etc.) and networking.
  • Conduct candidate interviews in both Japanese and English.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and external talent partners.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide market intelligence and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Near-native Japanese language proficiency (C2).
  • Business-level English proficiency (B2).
  • Minimum 3 years of in-house Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience.
  • Proven experience recruiting within the Japanese domestic market.
  • Hands-on experience using Japanese recruitment platforms like DODA, Mynavi, or en .
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting within a multinational or international organization.
  • Experience recruiting for sales, business development, marketing, or corporate functions.
  • Knowledge of employer branding and talent attraction strategies.
  • Understanding of talent market trends and workforce planning within Japan.
