What you will do

• Plan and execute flight test campaigns for UAS and Counter-UAS systems.
• Operate unmanned systems during trials, including mission setup, execution, and post-flight analysis.
• Support integration and validation of sensors, payloads, and countermeasure systems.
• Develop and refine test procedures, checklists, and safety protocols.
• Collect and analyze test data to provide engineering teams with clear recommendations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across hardware and software in demanding field conditions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UAS operations, flight testing, or field engineering (defense, aerospace, or RC).
• Valid drone operator certification A1/A2/A3, STS 1 & STS 2 (or willingness to achieve quickly).
• Strong understanding of flight operations, safety procedures, and EASA airspace regulations.
• Ability to work in demanding outdoor environments and willingness to travel frequently.
• Proficiency in English.
• Eligibility for security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF systems, EO/IR payloads, or electronic warfare.
• Military background.
• Aviation background (e.g., PPL, CPL).
• Fluency in German.
