What you will do

• Provide primary technical support during field campaigns, including aircraft assembly, battery management, and ground control station setup.
• Prepare and verify test-specific equipment, sensors, and payloads in collaboration with Flight Test Engineers.
• Support ground-based validation, troubleshooting, and HIL/SIL environment setups.
• Maintain flight line safety through pre-flight walkarounds and airspace observation.
• Integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain avionics and communication links.
• Maintain accurate flight logs, anomaly reports, and configuration control records.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Munich, Germany.
• Strong hands-on aptitude with tools and hardware.
• Initial exposure to UAVs through university projects, personal hobbies, or internships.
• Proactive and detail-oriented operational mindset.
• English proficiency required for strong collaboration.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Technical/vocational background in aircraft mechanics or electronics.
• Experience in high-end RC modeling.
