What you will do

• Architect task allocation engines for assigning multiple vehicles to targets in high-threat environments.
• Develop real-time, deterministic algorithms for dynamic swarm re-planning during active missions.
• Build the high-level optimization layer that interfaces with mission routing engines and operator objectives.
• Own the Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) environment to test and validate swarm behaviors.
• Deploy code onto live aircraft and participate in field flight trials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in autonomy or robotics with a track record of shipping production code.
• Expertise in production-grade modern C++ for latency-sensitive and deterministic systems.
• Deep mathematical fluency in combinatorial optimization, graph theory, and multi-agent coordination.
• Ability to translate complex research papers into working C++ prototypes.
• Systems-level thinking with experience interfacing with gRPC, telemetry, and state management.
• High agency and willingness to work in field environments for flight trials.
