What you will do

• Build, manage, and mentor a high-functioning information security team.
• Drive the multi-year information security strategy aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance.
• Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and application security programs.
• Lead audit and compliance programs including SOC 1/SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Serve as the senior security authority for client-facing reviews and executive-level discussions.
• Manage the security budget, vendor relationships, and third-party risk management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive information security experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity with direct reports.
• Deep familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 1/SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Proven ability to communicate complex security risks to executive and Board-level audiences.
• Experience managing security in a SaaS, fintech, or regulated technology environment.
• Must be based in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, or Uruguay.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
