What you will do
- Own the development and final delivery of scientifically accurate content aligned with client objectives, budgets, and schedules.
- Write and edit abstracts, scientific posters, manuscripts, slide decks, medical affairs deliverables, promotional content, and digital materials.
- Contribute to product strategy, publication plans, scientific statements, proposals, and pitch presentations.
- Support project kick-offs and client calls with strategic, editorial, scientific, and budgetary input.
- Manage sign-off for print, production, and submissions, including permissions and client amendments.
- Guide creative concepts, build relationships with clients and external thought leaders, and mentor junior writers.
Requirements
- Life sciences degree, ideally combined with a science Master’s degree or PhD.
- 3+ years of experience writing for pharmaceutical clients in an agency setting.
- Ability to write across multiple project types and therapy areas and interpret clinical and scientific data for different audiences.
- Strong understanding of industry, journal, congress, referencing, and content-development guidelines.
- Ability to manage people, provide feedback, manage expectations, and support junior team members.
- Solid time, project, and budget management skills with proficiency in MS365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
