What you will do

• Build and tune detection rules in XSIAM for various SaaS platforms and log sources.
• Analyze security telemetry and logs to identify suspicious user activity and system behavior.
• Research potential abuse vectors for enterprise tools to create realistic detection opportunities.
• Contribute to detection coverage for platforms including 1Password and AWS.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with the SOC team to improve detection quality.
• Learn and apply best practices in security monitoring and incident response under the guidance of a coach.

Requirements

• Currently studying Software Engineering or Computer Science in a Bachelors degree or higher in the province of Quebec.
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for 15 weeks.
• Ability to be present at the Montreal office at least two days a week.
• Familiarity with SIEM concepts and security tooling.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in threat detection and security monitoring.
• Experience with personal projects or Capture The Flag competitions.
