Junior Treasury Analyst

TL;DR

Junior Treasury Analyst (Finance): Managing day-to-day cash and payment operations across international entities with an accent on payment execution, cash monitoring, and banking activities. What you will do

• Monitor and manage daily cash balances and bank accounts across multiple entities.
• Execute high-volume payments for suppliers, payroll, taxes, and intercompany transfers.
• Handle urgent payment requests and resolve payment rejections and exceptions.
• Perform cash position checks and support short-term liquidity planning and forecasting.
• Manage loans, credit lines, and track exposure to FX and interest rate risks.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in payment processing and cash operations (mandatory).
• Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Solid understanding of cash flow, liquidity, interest rates, and FX.
• Must be eligible to work in Portugal (no relocation or sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Experience working with bank portals or e-banking platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) or Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience in an international or shared services environment.
