What you will do
- Build and implement department-level talent strategies that align with business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to functional leads across Japan, APAC, and global teams.
- Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives and manage complex people situations.
- Collaborate with global People Partners and Centers of Excellence on core programs like performance management and onboarding.
- Interpret people data to identify trends and champion a data-driven culture.
- Influence strategic planning forums as the essential people voice.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of HR experience as a strategic HR Business Partner or Organizational Consultant.
- Deep local HR experience in Japan and APAC, specifically in Japanese employee and labor relations.
- Professional fluency in both Japanese and English is required.
- Proven track record in navigating large-scale organizational change and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work from the Tokyo office on a hybrid schedule.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making.
