Salary: $147,900 - $203,000

What you will do

• Own day-to-day administration, configuration, and health of hirify.global's global Databricks environment.
• Manage workspace governance, including access controls, cluster policies, and security configurations.
• Support the onboarding of new teams and unify data across Finance, Commerce, and Marketing domains.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and cost inefficiencies.
• Partner with IT and Data Architecture teams to align with Databricks best practices and Data Mesh approach.
• Contribute to data pipeline development and Spark workload optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform/infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on Databricks administration experience, including workspace management and cluster configuration.
• Strong understanding of Apache Spark and distributed compute fundamentals.
• Experience running production data systems on AWS (S3, Glue, Kinesis, IAM).
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools and CI/CD practices.
• Must be based in the US (excluding specific states) and able to support US East Coast hours.

Nice to have

• Databricks Certified Administrator or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance at scale.
• Familiarity with Data Mesh principles and domain-oriented platform design.
